"That deleted thread", part 1

This is the part one of thread from the other site that was deleted.I did not know that there was a maximum length for posts on this board, but there is, and this one exceeds it.

I understand that the new to be management have failed failed to make any attempt to meet with the local condo owners. Without the support of the local owners, it is set to fail before it even tries to open. Somone is making a terrible investment.

you are probably right, but it is because there is little access by boat with all of the docks filled by condo owners and the place is difficult to get to by land. you have to walk through the condo complex.having said that, if they get cheap beer and fast women, they will fill the place with locals, and not even need the lake crowd. If I were a condo owner, I would be worried that the new owners would turn it into a juke joint for trailer trash. condo owners might want to work with the new people so that the place appeals to the crowd that would most benefit them.

And naturally that is the 'lake crowd'? Sorry but the lake crowd is very fickle and most expect folks to kiss their anice. The local 'trailer trash' manages to support several local watering holes. Thanks for letting us know where you stand. Maybe you and feb can open a spot that will 'make it'. You seem to be of like mind, snobbish eletist. Some here think the same of condo owners as you do of trailer owners so maybe the condo owners aren't the ones to consult.

LTL you make good points, have a ton of LM experience and knowledge, offer a good deal to the forum, but why do you have to take the pot shots? Just curious, your post was mainly on target, and the personal attacks were not necessary. My .012 cents (what with inflation and all)

Audacity? I seem to recall hearing that word far too frequently during the past year. How about this - yes the residents are paying for parking, but what about the lack of Global Equality? Just because someone cannot afford the condo (or the beer, loose women and associated medical expenses) does not mean that they should not be allowed to join in the "fun". At the very least they should be provided with mooring bouys and steps from the lake to the joint...

those who are too lazy and sorry to do better with their lives. I started out with nothing and worked hard with a lot of personal sacrifices to make a better life for myself.I am no smarter or better than anyone else, but I just may have a stronger desire to achive and do something with my life.I do not feel sorry for the likes of you. You seem to have the intelligence but the lack of desire or will to improve your status in life. What a waste! You can only blame yourself and not others. There was a time in my life when I owned and lived in a 12 X 60. It was in the early 70s when I was stationed at Ft. Rucker.I worked my way throught college and later worked full time and acheived my Masters Degree. What have you ever done with your pitiful life? Lets hear it. No, we will not hear it since you are ashamed of it and can only judge others and feel jealous of their personal success. With all of the above said, now lets all bend down and kiss Swimmer's sorry butt. He would only wish we would do so since he is the spokesperson for the lower class and thinks they are the way we should all live. Oh yes, I should be ashamed of what I achieved with hard work and personal sacrifices. So should all of the rest of you that have made a success of your lives and wish the best for your sons and daughters. There is a reason some of us are achievers, and a reason some of you are losers. Face up to it and look at yourself in the mirror. Now once again Swimmer, judge me from your high seat on the toliet. From what you have stated in the past, your Father was a far better man than you. I bet you never made him proud. (a real low blow for someone who deserves it).

Yes, just share with us who you are. What is your status in life? Why would any of us want to be in your shoes? Please explsin this one to me and the Forum. You are too young to be retired, and you must not work since you are on the forum all the time.I know, you want to keep me guessing and your real friends know what a great person you are and your high status in life. Please introduce me to one of your friends. I am rather curious as to who sits in constant judgement of me, and what their qualifications are to do so. It would be so funny if it were not so pathetic.

When a restaurant is situated so that visitors by land must go through a housing complex, or face a parking issue when they come by water, it's an issue. Surrounding a public place with private owners may cause problems. I saw Monday that the sign had been uncovered, and imagined that the restaurant was reopening. As lots have stated, we need more restaurants on the lake, so I wish them well. It's a public business, so the clientele can't really be filtered. If one has the money, then they are welcome. If I owned one of the condos surrounding it, I would have hoped the new restaurant owners would meet with us to discuss any concerns though.

Feb, your feelings about folks that live in trailers is well documented. Your elitism is well documented. yes I do enjoy deeping the details of my life from you. It gives me great satisfaction to know that you STILL don't have a clue....lol.It is quite obviuos that you seem to think that my life is something to be ashamed of. The wager is till open on my owning lake property. I know it really bugs you that I live on the lake. You can't deny that I do any longer since you have been put in your place many times, proven wrong, yet you still refuse to honor the wager. You sir, are an angry little man. Now tell me, which of YOUR friends are going to jump to your defrnse. What are their qualifications to do so? I have a degree and a source of income. Am I going to tell you what either of them are? Not in this life. Several forum members have been to my house. Several more will be here Saturday. Come on by. Enjoy the music. Eat some of the pig we are cooking. Introduce yourself if you aren't to ashamed and scared of learning the truth. And yes, I know how to push your buttons and pull your strings. It is not even a challenge. You are way to easy. Now you and Kizma get out there and start looking for a place to open so you can cater to your friends. You can call it Snobs R Us. Put some of that hard work and education to work for the betterment of the lake, or at least the residents you feel worthy of allowing into your esteemed establishiment. Just be sure to put up a sign that says Trailer Trash NOT allowed. Just make dang sure it is YOUR property or I might have to come take it downn the dark of night. You are still a pathetic little snivelling snob. Go back to lurking, the forum was much more pleasant without you. And why don't you have me on IGGY. You begged for it, now USE IT.And now I am sure that all the others that post here thoughout the day are glad to find out that we are all unemployed, worthless, welfare recipients not worthy of the bandwidth it takes to post.

I don't have to work anymore. I am retired and at 55 years of age. (retired now for seven years) I have a very nice life. Maybe, you should try working for a change. I would never open a restaurant since it is a lot of hard work and many years of experiece of which I will admit I do not have and I am not qualified to do. You do not find me rating local establisment on the Forum. The one good thing you once mentioned was Mama Ella's in Alex City. We go there frequently, and I thank you for the recommendation. I heard you got fired from your last job. Is this correct? It was a manager in a small dollar store of some kind. They seem to be one on every corner. Are you now claiming you have a degree from a college? I do not think it would be bragging to just state your degree and from what university. If you have it, you should be proud of it.Did your nice Father leave you and the rest of your family with the Lake place? I never bet you anything, but I would almost be willing to wager you never obtained a Lake place on your own. Is your abode on the Lake actually yours? Is it in your name? (how ever many different names you have) I always was told people with various names and alias were up to no good. LOL Did your earn the money to buy your Lake place or obtain a mortage on it? Just give me somemore jive as a response. Now lets get down and ugly again. You can not support a single statement you make about yourself. Your are a real looser. It is such a shame since you seem to have a degree of intelligence.I must be bored this morning or I would not be using you for such easy entertainment. You see, I open up and reveal my data to support my side of the debate. You offer nothing other than smoke and mirrors. Kind of seems like a small time politician. In other words why should anyone take you serious without supporting your side of the debate. Give me directions to your place. I may just drop by. You know where I live. I will have a rather large party going on here. You are welcome to drop in.

Nope feb, I will be too busy cooking a pig and entertaining the masses to come to your place. As for all the other drivel, hire a detective if it interests you so much. Or use that super intelliginece that got you that masters degree and figure out where I live. And yes, my father did leave his old lake place to the family but we sold it in '02. Two years AFTER I bought my own place. I could no longer maintain my lake house, my house in town, and the rental that I owned then, plus the family place. Now the family just comes here. Two sisters will be here Friday. I have interest in more lake property than the one I live in.Fired from my job? Hmm, maybe you need to tell them so they will stop depositing money in my account. As for where my degrees are from, well that I will leave up to the detective you hire to find out. But funny thing is, if not for your wife, noone would know where your alledged degree is from.My sad pathetic life sure seems pretty darn good to me. I live where others vacation, have leisure time to spend on the greatest lake in the southeast, maybe the country, and am loving life to the fullest. I am freinds with all that live around me, although some I think only love me for my boat ramp...lol.As for details of my mortgage, suffice to say that I pay it every month. If you want more details you must put the 135K in escrow to see the documentation. I really don't beleive you went here again, after I pointed how two of your forum heroes appear to be living in a place that the county has someone else listed as the owner. But you have never proven to be of even average intelligince, so I can see why you choose to chase the ghosts of the past.Glad you enjoy Mama Ella's. It has been way too long since I have been there.

When you came back from lurking for months, you second post was an attack on me. It was promptly deleted so don't even try to deny it. I don't equate any of those things to intelligence, especially education. I know some idiots with advanced degrees, present company included, and I know some guenuises with a 9th grade education. And possessions? Talk to feb about that one, remember I am the champion of all things trailer trash. I hope I never judge anyone by what they have. But feb has gotten two things right today. I do have 4 very lovely sisters and my Dad was a better man than feb or I either one will ever be. And just for the record feb, the last words my father said to me were that he was proud of me before he closed his eyes and passed away.

I have invited Swimmer to stop by our house. Invited him to come by for a Coke. No Grudge is habored here. This bickering is tiresome, not to mention that the original "Frankie's" thread was hijacked so Swimmer could call Feb and KMA "elitist". And you guys complain about the "other" forum. Is this better? GEEEZ. I hope Frankie's reopens into something that we would enjoy -- I personally think the lake could use a great burger place. Lots of restaurants serve burgers, but they are only so-so. Or I wish they would put in brick ovens and make pizza. Chucks is far/far away for us.As far as I know, burgers and pizza have no class distinctions.

I would think that they would be about the same by land from you and of course Chucks is much closer by water. Do you go to chucks by going around by Real Island? I can't remeber the road number. I know you have been to Green Valley Market and Chucks isn't that far from there. Chucks is definitely the best destination on the lake. And I assure you, the next time I make up that way I am coming to see you. That is an all day trip in my slow boat.

OK, I am a complete idiot with a few advanced degrees. Along with it comes some degree of acomplishment. You have never shared your ability to have an accomplishment in your life. I guess it could be the ability to fail getting into the military three times. LOLYou never did provide me with direction to your place by road. I need to know this to come visit. I will be right behind the Tallapoosa Sheriff's Office when they are checking on under age drinkers at your party and bands next Saturday. With my intelligence, I think I can figure it out with the help of a few other Forum members. I hope you have a happy 4th and remember not to allow any under age alcohol users on your property. Why would you even suggest such a thing you smarmy little b@astard. There has NEVER been any under age drinking at my house with the exception of a couple of America's finest. If they are mature enough to take up arms to protect my butt, they can drink a beer at my house. But the point is there will be very few if any 18-21yo here so you bring the sherrifs right on over. I look forward to it and the lawsuit I will file on Monday morning, not to mention a complaint with the local sherriff about you filing FALSE reports you ignorant a-hole. Filing false reports is a CRIME. PLEASE DO IT YOU IGNORANT B@aSTARD!! Why don't you have them park outside the S/D also to catch all the drunk drivers leaving as well. Oh, thats right, there won't be any because we don't allow them to leave. Come on over, it will the be the place with the tent city set up in the front yard.AS for the band, until my neighbors complain they will play. The neighbors will NEVER complain. Most of them will be here listening to the music or on their decks listening and watching the fireworks. Now how do you feel about your passive-agressive threat now you stupid little man. Now maybe you better call your brother, the attorney, and ask him once again to define defamation for your stupid little mind. You are some peice of work feb. Too dumb to be allowed out without adult supervision. A classic example of the Peter Principle if ever thare was one.

It's been a business axiom for some time that if a place fails several times, it is most likely going to do so again. Sometimes opening a different business works. You mentioned location, and that is very likely the main problem. Opening this late in the season is also going to work against them. All that said, I do wish them well and hope they make it.

Shall I repost some of your racist rants for the newbies. The difference is I can PROVE my charges. What are you going to tell the judge about your comments.Yes, I call you names, because you have EARNED THEM. Just like the a** kicking I will give you if you are ever brave/stupid enough to show up anywhere where I am.

Oh my goodness. You have me trembling in fear. I guess you are going to kick the butt of some old f@rt. What a brave man you are. I just hope you attempt to lay a finger on me. You will end up in jail for a good period of time. Now you are resorting to physical harm threats. You must of gotten a little deeper into the vodka bottle tonight. Remember physical threats are not allowed on the Forum. I will not complain to Bruce like you do Randy. I hope he bans you forever from this Forum. I may of accomplished a major coup. Yes, my name is Lamar Hickman. I am proud of it. Announcing my name on the Forum is most likely the nicest thing you ever said to me. Thank you. You know where I live. Come on by.

Bruce can ban me for life tonight. I will be back in five minutes. Done it before, will do it again. Nice try though. Even Bruce knows he can't do it. If he bans my IP, I aquire a new one. Very simple procedure, couple of clicks it is done. Bruce knows this.Funny thing there was not one thread of controversy the entire time you relegated yourself to 'lurker' status. You show back up, and the crap starts all over again. Now who do you think he will ban?
